The EWMA Council Election is held in two ways:
- Election of council members by and among the individual members of EWMA
- Election of council members by and among the EWMA Cooperating Organisations

Individual candidates
This year, there are four (4) vacancies available in council for individual members of EWMA. For these vacancies there are thirteen (13) candidates.
In total, one (1) of these vacancies is currently held by a member of council who have come to the end of her/his term but can choose to stand for re-election. However, these vacancies are also open to other members, who wish to stand for election.
