This EWMA Compression Therapy e-Learning Course will introduce you to the fundamentals of compression therapy and how it should be used to prevent, treat and heal lower limb wounds and leg oedema.

The e-learning course includes 10 short modules which should take 1-2 hours to complete and is divided into two sections:

1. Fundamentals of Compression Therapy

2. Using Compression Therapy Effectively

The course is designed for anyone that is interested in understanding:

  • WHAT compression therapy is and how it works
  • The most effective ways to USE compression therapy to prevent, treat, and heal lower limb wounds and leg oedema.
  • WHEN compression therapy is contraindicated – and the many cases in which it should be used.
  • HOW you may optimise the engagement of the patient.

The course was developed as part of the EWMA Compression Therapy Programme, which is supported by an unrestricted grant from Jobst, L&R, Solventum and Urgo Medical.
