We are pleased to announce the launch of the EWMA Pressure Injury Recurrence Toolkit – an evidence-based toolkit designed to guide healthcare professionals, patients and informal caregivers in the prevention of recurrent pressure ulcers and pressure injuries among people living with spinal cord injury.
Developed in collaboration with Wounds Australia, the toolkit is a comprehensive resource created by international experts and provides practical guidance, tools and educational materials applicable across the entire patient pathway.
The materials cover three key care settings:
- Acute hospital care
- Rehabilitation
- Home care
They offer tailored resources for clinicians and other healthcare professionals, homecare providers, caregivers, patients and family members.
The toolkit includes structured guidance, checklists, training materials and patient-friendly information, all aimed at supporting early detection, optimal care and long-term prevention of pressure injury recurrence.
