How to join the EWMA Patient Voices Initiative

Your experiences and ideas are important in helping us shape healthcare that truly focuses on patients.

You can join if you: 

  • Have (or have had) a wound, or in significant risk of developing one
  • Are motivated and willing to contribute to the group
  • Are a citizen of a European country

 

Benefits of being involved: 

  • Your input will help increase patient involvement in advocacy and decision-making
  • Your input will raise awareness on patient experience
  • Your input will help shaping the future of wound care

To apply for membership, we kindly ask you to fill out the Application Form. You can download the printable version (to fill out manually) or use the online form.

Membership Conditions

In the section below, you can read more about the conditions for being a member of the Patient Voices Initiative

Expected workload and time consume
  • You will be invited to take part in activities corresponding to the preferences indicated in your Application Form. 
  • The workload will depend on the single activity and may therefore vary.
  • Your level of engagement depends on the amount and type of activities that you are accepting to take part in. 
  • You can always decide to decline an invitation to take part in an activity.
  • You can pause or stop your membership and withdraw your consent at any time.
  • When withdrawing your membership, your personal information will be deleted from our system
  • If your application is unsuccessful, all personal information that you have provided will be deleted by the EWMA Secretariat.
