Session Objectives

This session will present the EWMA document ”Use of oxygen therapies in wound care” which is currently being developed and is scheduled to be published prior to the EWMA 2017 conference.

The document aims at providing an overview and practice oriented guidance about the current use of various forms of oxygen therapies in wound healing. It will provide an overview of treatment options available, as well as assessments of the best available evidence on their respective results. The document will go into details with specific aspects and current discussions connected with the use of oxygen in wound healing.
