Dr. med. Julian-Dario Rembe is a Senior Clinician Scientist and Surgeon at the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD). He coordinates the University Wound Center (UWC) and leads the “Wound & Perfusion” research group and is an executive board member of the German professional medical association “Initiative Chronische Wunde e.V. (ICW)”. His scientific work focuses on the biomedical mechanisms and translational aspects of chronic wound healing, including analysis of the wound microenvironment, identification of biomarkers and development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. Clinically, Dr. Rembe specializes in the management of patients with complex, chronic, or ischemia-related wounds and pursues evidence-based approaches to optimize antiseptic use, wound care, and tissue regeneration.
