John Posnett, BA, DPhil. An independent Health Economics consultant with experience in academia and industry. Previously Professor of Health Economics at the University of York, UK; Vice-President and Head of the Health Economics Modelling Unit at a US-listed clinical research organisation (Parexel); and Vice-President and global head of health economics at a major UK-based medical devices company (Smith and Nephew).
Current activities include assessing the cost-effectiveness of new and existing healthcare interventions, publishing in academic journals and preparing submissions for national and local reimbursement agencies.
