Professor Parker is an academic with a wealth of clinical skills in hospital, aged and community settings, having been a Registered Nurse for thirty years, including fifteen years working clinically across hospital and community settings. She currently leads the interdisciplinary Wound Research Advancement Group at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia with her team focused on all types of wounds and the translation of evidence into practice. Christina is a Board member of Wounds Australia and leads the Wounds Australia Research committee.
