We are sad to announce, that previous EWMA Council member (2006-2009) Prof. Dr Judit Daróczy, from Hungary, died in August 2024, 82 years old.

Judit Daróczy was a professor of Dermatology and held several leadership positions during her career, including Director of the Department of Dermatology and the Department of Lymphology, St. Stephan Hospital, Budapest, as well as President of the Hungarian Society of Lymphology.  

In EWMA, Prof Judit Daróczy was also a dedicated member of the Education Committee (2009-2015), and she contributed with development of educational resources as well as inspiring lectures during her time in the EWMA Council. We will remember Judit Daróczy for her kindness, professional dedication, as well as her artistic interest and skills.
