Journal of Wound Management – April Issue out now

The latest issue of the Journal of Wound Management is available online.

The April 2024 issue of the Journal of Wound Management presents eight new articles on collaborative and sustainable wound care from authors all over the world.

Journal Editor Georgina Gethin writes in her editorial:
“This year marks the 34th EWMA conference which will undoubtedly be bigger and more advanced than ever before. This year’s theme is: Collaborative and sustainable wound care: making everyone’s contribution count. Reflecting on how we have grown, we did a search of PubMed for the year 1990 (34 years ago) for the words, chronic wound, wound healing and clinical trial. It yielded only seven results. Today, that number has risen to over 280 for the year 2023 alone.
In 1990, sole author papers and sole institution papers were prominent. Today, collaboration across disciplines and countries prevails. Such collaboration is fostered by events like EWMA, promoting networking and information exchange.”
