Industry collaboration

International and multidisciplinary collaboration is a cornerstone of the European Wound Management Association.

Partnership with EWMA

EWMA’s relationship with its Corporate Sponsors is one of mutual support and flexibility, as EWMA recognises the importance of collaboration with the industry in the development within wound care and wound management.

Corporate Sponsors of EWMA become part of a network and have a unique opportunity to communicate their strategy and product information directly to their target group: nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals working within wound care. Every year, all these people are brought together at the annual EWMA Conference.

EWMA Corporate Sponsors

Corporate A Sponsorship and Corporate B Sponsorship

There are two levels of sponsorship: Corporate A-Sponsorship and Corporate B-Sponsorship.

A-Sponsors have more benefits than B-Sponsors and are generally more involved in EWMA activities. The Corporate B-Sponsorship serves as a good introduction to what it means to be a sponsor of EWMA.

For more information about the Corporate Sponsorship click on one of the links below or contact EWMA Secretariat at ewma@ewma.org.

Collaboration on educational resources

Education has always been central to EWMA. Supporting good education in wound management is key to the realisation of EWMA’s main objective to improve and develop wound management in Europe. EWMA has published several documents on wound care related topics as well as webinars, which are publicly available on-demand. Several of these have been supported by industry partners.

Ethical guidelines

While EWMA is interested in maintaining a positive collaboration/dialogue with all companies who have an interest in wound healing and wound management, it is important to stress that EWMA always maintains its status as an independent non-profit organisation. Any advice, comments or criticisms that are offered by the industry, will be reviewed by the academic and clinical partners in the organisation.
