The EWMA Masterclass 2025 on Compression Therapy has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 7.0 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).
In this masterclass, the participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the latest advancements in compression therapy techniques and best practices across Europe, via participating in carefully designed workshops and insightful presentations by leading experts in the field. Participants practiced compression therapy to enhance their clinical proficiency.
The masterclass was designed for practitioners to optimize their wound healing practice by introducing or further advancing their use of compression therapy.
The aim of the course was to familiarize participants with the latest compression therapy techniques and best practices. Through this course, participants gained comprehensive knowledge about wound evaluation and the objectives of compression therapy, including when, how, and why to perform it.
The workshop covered the practical skills and the common pitfalls associated with compression therapy. Attendees were able to practice compression therapy during the workshop, enhancing their ability to effectively integrate this essential practice into their wound care management.
