Pressure Injury Recurrence

A toolkit for prevention of pressure injuries for spinal cord injuries.

This project will outline evidence-based strategies for prevention of recurrence among patients with spinal cords injuries and provide a toolkit for guidance of healthcare workers, patients, and informal caregivers. Additionally, best practice examples and recommendations on home care supporting devices will be pinpointed.

The toolkit will include infographics, factsheets, patient education materials, clinical pathways, short training videos, assessment tools, patient empowerment resources, and case studies.
The project is developed in collaboration with Wounds Australia.
