Through two key initiatives — the EWMA Wound Centre Directory and the EWMA Wound Centre Endorsement Programme — EWMA collaborates with wound centres to improve patient care, promote professional development, and foster international knowledge sharing.
Wound Centre Directory
A Key Resource for Healthcare Professionals and Patients
The EWMA Wound Centre Directory is a new initiative designed to provide a comprehensive overview of wound care centres across Europe. The directory aims to support healthcare professionals in expanding their professional networks, accessing training opportunities, and exploring potential research collaborations. At the same time, it serves as a valuable resource for patients seeking specialised wound care services throughout Europe.
In addition to offering an overview of European wound centres, the directory allows users to search for specialised centres within specific geographical areas, making it easier to identify relevant expertise and services.
Please note that the wound centres listed in the directory are self-reported. EWMA does not systematically search for or verify all wound centres in Europe, and inclusion in the directory is not subject to a formal approval process. As such, EWMA cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided and is not responsible for the care delivered by the listed wound centres.

Wound Centre Endorsement Programme
The programme recognizes centres that meet high EWMA standards in wound management. Its overarching goal is to support multidisciplinary teamwork and evidence-based wound management. Endorsed wound centres have always undergone a thorough evaluation visit by a EWMA representative to claim their endorsement.

Submit your Wound Centre
The EWMA Wound Centre Directory helps connect patients, healthcare professionals, and organisations with specialised wound care services. Join a growing international network of specialised wound care providers by including your wound centre in our Wound Centre Directory. The directory is designed to assist patients, healthcare professionals, and organisations easily find high-quality wound care services.
Listing your wound centre is completely free and is a great way to increase visibility, share your expertise, and support improved access to specialised wound care. Once submitted, your wound centre will be added to the directory and made accessible to a wide audience.
