This webinar features the topic of Telemedicine in wound management: current practice and future potential. Due to COVID-19, it became more challenging to deliver wound care to chronic wound patients. Telemedicine is an important tool at the moment that helps healthcare professionals continue to provide care, prevent exposure to COVID-19 and minimise the risk for further complications related to the chronic condition. The speakers are discussing how telemedicine is currently implemented in wound management and what are the future perspectives on its consolidation and expansion.

This EWMA webinar focuses on wound care during COVID-19, and it is organised in cooperation with the Tissue Viability Society (TVS). The speakers of the webinar are TVS trustees: Nikki Stubbs, Clinical Project Lead - Integrated wound care project, Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust, (UK); Kate Williams, Wound Clinical Nurse Specialist, Leeds Community Wound Prevention and Management Service (UK).

Nikki Stubbs is working with developing and delivering integrated wound clinics across primamry and community care in the Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Kate Williams is a Wound Clinical Nurse Specialist, and during COVID-19 she has been temporary redeployed into a community nursing team. 

This webinar is organised as a Q&A session, where webinars participants ask questions linked to wound care during COVID-19.
