Oxygen Therapies Guidance Document

Project period: 2016–2017

The EWMA Oxygen Therapies Guidance document will provide practice-oriented guidance on the current use of various forms of oxygen therapies for wound treatment.

This document will include an overview of treatment options available and an assessment of the best available evidence for use. In addition, the document will detail specific aspects and current discussions connected with the use of oxygen in wound healing.

Finally, the document will explore the main reasons behind the large differences in the use of oxygen therapies for wound healing between the U.S.A. and Europe, and the potential for increasing the use of oxygen therapies in Europe.

Please contact the EWMA Secretariat for more information.
