Council Election - Cooperating Organisations

 

This year, there are two (2) vacancies for the Cooperating Organisations representatives in the EWMA Council.

 

For these vacancies, there are eight (8) candidates:

  • Annette Hoegh, the Danish Wound Healing Society
  • Beata Mrozikiewicz Rakowska, the Polish Wound Management Association 
  • Hakan Uncu, Wound Management Association of Turkey
  • Hubert Vuagnat, the Swiss Association for Wound Care (Swiss French Section) 
  • Martin Hutan, the Slovak Wound Healing Society
  • Tanja Planinsek Rucigaj, the Slovenian Wound Management Association 
  • Sergiy Podpryatov, the Ukrainian Association of Wound Healing

 

The election for Cooperating Organisation representatives in the EWMA Council will take place at the annual Cooperating Organisation’s Board Meeting which is held during the EWMA Conference.

This year, the meeting will take place Thursday 6 June 2019, 15:00 - 18:30 in meeting room G4.

All candidates are expected to participate in this Cooperating Organisation’s Board meeting, in order to present themselves before the election.

The result of the election will be presented at the meeting, immediately after the voting. The results will also be published at the website and via EWMA's social media platforms.

 

 


Council Election - Individual members

This year, there are three (3) vacancies for individual members of EWMA*.

Only current members of EWMA (members registered by 1 January 2019) are entitled to vote in this election.

For these vacancies there are five (5) candidates:

  • Dimitri Beeckman, Belgium
  • José Verdu Soriano, Spain
  • Kirsi Isoherranen, Finland
  • Sara Rowan, Italy
  • Vladimira Fejfarova, Czech Republic

The election among individual EWMA members will take place via online ballot.

Voting instructions:

  • Each member has three (3) votes (Prioritisation of candidates is not possible).
  • If you select more than three (3) candidates, your vote will not be valid.
  • If you are a candidate, you are allowed to vote for yourself.
  • Those members receiving the majority of votes will be elected members of the EWMA Council. In the event of an equal number of votes being cast on two or more candidates, an additional ballot will be arranged to determine which of these candidates should be invited to join the EWMA Council.
