New EWMA project: Living With Chronic Wounds

09 Jul

This summer EWMA travels through Europe to document experiences of living with chronic wounds.

The aim of this new EWMA project is to capture wound patients in a number of recorded interviews with the patient and the health care professional(s) responsible for the treatment and care of the patient, as well as a representative of the health care institution.

The objective is to produce a series of videos that will illustrate patients’ experiences and the various challenges and approaches to wound management experienced and undertaken by wound care professionals and their organisations.

In summer and autumn 2018, we will visit a number of wound care clinics across Europe to interview patient representatives and the health care professionals and managers responsible for providing their treatment and care.

The videos will be available for use in education, advocacy activities and various communication activities.
