EWMA supports STOP Pressure Ulcer Day 2019
STOP Pressure Ulcers Day is a global annual event in which industry, healthcare professionals, the public and media come together to help raise awareness of pressure ulcers.
EWMA collaborates with EPUAP to influence the pressure ulcer prevention and patient safety agendas at the European as well as national level.
On 7 November, EWMA and EPUAP organised a roundtable debate on patient safety and wound care in Europe at the European Parliament in Brussels, to discuss the current situation of patient safety and look into how policymakers may shape effective strategies for safer care, specifically in wound care and pressure ulcer prevention.
