This webinar features the topic of telemedicine in wound management: current practice and future potential. Due to COVID-19, it became more challenging to deliver wound care to chronic wound patients. Telemedicine is an important tool at the moment that helps healthcare professionals continue to provide care, prevent exposure to COVID-19 and minimise the risk for further complications related to the chronic condition. The speakers are discussing how telemedicine is currently implemented in wound management and what are the future perspectives on its consolidation and expansion.

You can watch this webinar on demand and recieve a certificate of attendance. This webinar will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the prevention and management of skin injuries related to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Speakers: Julie Jordan O'Brien, Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Ireland), Elena Conde Montero, Dermatologist (Spain). Moderator: Samantha Holloway, Reader, EWMA Education Committee Chair (UK).
