Are you looking for:
Well, look no furhter. EMWA strives actively to create a supportive environment, where European wound healing clinical studies are performed, and where innovative companies execute their visions and reach their goals. The EWMA Innovation Forum adresses the unmet needs in wound care and gives investors and innovators the opportunity to meet and create fruitful connections.
New, innovative as well as established companies within wound care, potential spinouts from clinics and universities, and investors with an interest in healthcare.
One of the prime objectives of EWMA is to enhance the development and availability of innovative wound care solutions for physicians and their patients in Europe. With this in mind, EMWA wants to foster the development of innovative wound healing products from “bench to bed side” by enhancing contacts between innovative companies, established companies who already collaborate with EWMA, and investors. Thereby, creating and facilitating opportunities for strategic investment and partnerships, joint development, licensing, and merger and acquisition.
Following the link below you can watch a 30 min introduction to EMWA Innovation Forum “Boosting product development of innovative wound healing therapies” presented by Edwin Den Braber, EWMA Innovation Committee. The introduction is a recording from a webinar 15 December 2022 with the participation of startups and spinouts, investors, and business developers from established companies.

The EWMA innovation competition aims to support start-ups and spinouts within wound healing wishing to bring their solutions to the market for the benefits of the patients. The objectives of the competition are to:
• Highlight innovative tech-enabled solutions with the potential to dramatically increase the quality and effectiveness of wound care.
• Demonstrate scalable models that improve the quality of wound care for the patients.
• Create strong and distributable learnings that can be leveraged broadly beyond the organizations involved.
We envision these solutions to be practical and implementable on at least a pilot basis within 0 – 3 years. More information on the EWMA Innovation Competition will be posted within short.
EWMA is determined to make this forum outstanding in its field and is therefore interested in creating the best possible program. This is of course only possible through active participations of the different stakeholders involved. Which is why EWMA will be conducting interviews throughout the autumn of 2022 to identify particuar interests and needs as well as challenges new, innovative companies face when entering the market. The EWMA Innovation Forum will focus on attracting investors, finding partners, obtaining product evidence, and attempts to reach the market.
If you like to participate in such an interview with EMWA, lasting 30 minutes to one hour, please contact Peter Frank. Find contact details above under “Who should participate”.
Participation is by invitation only.
If you are from a startup, spinout, an investor or an established company with an interest in acquiring new technologies an invitation with a registration code can be received from firstname.lastname@example.org
