  • How can I register for the conference?

Registration for the conference should be done through the online registration system. You will find the link HERE. The first step of the process is to create an account. The system will automatically recognise your email address if you already have an account. You can request a password reset if you have forgotten your password

 

  • How can I register someone else?

It is possible to register colleagues or clients for the conference. Please create an account using your email and details, from which, once logged in to the system, you can register other participants using their own email address. Important do not create fake accounts as QR code vouchers, CME credits, important information etc. related to each participant will be sent to their personal email address.

 

  • How can I get an Invitation Letter for a Visa application?

The letter aims to assist participants who need to obtain a visa, or permission to attend the Conference, and is not an official invitation letter covering fees or any other expenses for you as participant. 

You may request an Invitation Letter through the online system. Letters will only be issued when registration fee has been paid in full. Please see requirements and details on obtaining a visa at GOV.UK.

 

  • Which payment methods are accepted?

Accepted payment methods are credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or bank transfer (until 4 May 2020)

 

  • Can I pay by bank transfer on site?

No, only credit card payments or cash will be accepted on site

 

  • I wish to make a payment by bank transfer. What are your bank details?

  • Which currencies are accepted?

All payments are processed in pound sterling (GBP)

 

  • Is there a special fee for EWMA members?

There is a reduced fee for EWMA members. You can also join EWMA and register for the conference at a reduced rate. Please visit the EWMA website for membership information.

 

  • How do I get my name badge?

You print your name badge at the selfscan counters at the venue using the QR code voucher received. There will be staff on site to assist participants.

 

  • When and to whom will the QR code vouchers be sent?

The vouchers are sent to the email used in the registration, once registrations are paid in full. Check your SPAM filter if you do not receive the voucher.

 

  • When will I get my registration confirmation/invoice?

Once you have submitted your online registration you will receive an automatic email confirmation. Invoices will be attached in PDF.

 

  • Can I replace one participant with another?

All changes and replacements are only possible before 30 April 2020. No changes possible after this date. Changes should be sent by email to registration@ewma.org

 

  • Can I cancel a registration?

Cancellations must be sent in writing to registration@ewma.org. efund of registration fees will be granted as follows:

  • Received on or before 16 October 2020: Processing fee of 20% per cancellation
  • Received after 16 October 2020: No refund
  • All refunds will be processed after the conference. No refunds will be granted in case of no show.

In case of a postponement or cancellation of the conference due to the COVID-19 situation, participants will able to request a refund of their registration fee minus a 20% processing fee.

 

  • Can I register onsite?

Yes, it’s possible to register onsite at the designated section of the registration counter. Please allow some delay due to processing time.

 

  • What information do I need to provide to register a participant?

We require the following details for each participant you wish to register:

First name and Family name, a personal business or home address and a personal email address.

 

  • Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

Yes all conference participants that have attended will be able to download/print an attendance certificate after the conference.

 

  • Is EWMA 2020 accredited for CME?

An application has been made to the EACCME for CME accreditation of this event.

 

  • Can I register a group?

You can register up to 10 participants within one order/invoice. In order to do so you create an account with your own details. Once logged in you can register participants (with their own details) under your account. You can make multiple orders using your account if you have more than 10 participants to register.

 

  • Can I send you a list of participants to register?

We do not accept lists of participants for registration, all registrations must be made using the online registration system.

 

  • What is included in the registration fee?

Registration fee includes conference bag, final programme book, abstracts available on conference app, admission to full conference programme, certificate of attendance and CME Certificate.

 

  • Is there VAT on registration fees?

Yes 20%

 

  • Is EWMA registered for VAT in UK?

Yes. The VAT number is GB190222044

 

  • Does reverse charge apply to companies within the European Union?

No. It is required by local authorities that local UK VAT is applied to all registration fees. Invoices cannot be issued without VAT.

 

  • I am an exhibitor at EWMA. Do I need to register for a name badge?

Yes, all stand personnel must register through the online system. You will find further instructions HERE

 

  • Are exhibitor badges personal?

All badges are personal and cannot be shared.

 

  • I have registered as exhibitor stand staff, can I access the scientific sessions?

No. If you want to access the scientific sessions you need to register as a paying participant.

 

  • I am not an exhibitor. Can I visit the exhibition only?

Yes you can purchase a one day ticket to visit the exhibition only. You should register as Exhibition access only, and must choose the date you wish to visit. (multiple days not possible)

 

  • Brexit

As you will know, the UK is leaving the European Union on 31 January 2020. It is important to remember that the UK has agreed a Withdrawal Agreement with the EU which will keep a similar relationship in place until the end of December 2020. This means that the UK will enter a period of transition until the end of the year where our access to the EU will remain the same. What you’ll need to enter the UK will not change until at least 2021.
