Regenerative Medicine in the Treatment of Chronic Wounds

Objectives

Regenerative medicine has recently successfully been applied in a range of clinical settings related to chronic wound pathologies. The session aims to present current on-going research using stem cells and discuss how close we are to full patient trials and critically review the application of regenerative medicine in wound healing according to the different models applied in wound healing so far.
