Objectives

After this session the participants will:

  • understand the concepts of burn injury and its pathophysiology in adults
  • understand the concepts of burn injury and its pathophysiology in children
  • be able to apply these concepts to the evaluation, resuscitation, clinical management, and rehabilitation of the burned patient
