  • Promoting principles and rules on wound management;
  • Developing self-consciousness of wound management caregivers;
  • Promoting Post-Graduate University Courses and Master Courses;
  • Collaborating with EWMA, EPUAP, SILAUHE and other National Organisations;
  • Researching in wound management;
  • Organising National Congresses (each 3 years), seminars and symposiums;
  • Collaborating with the Portuguese Public Health and others Public or Private Health Organisations;
  • Collaborating with Portuguese Catholic University (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) and other Superior Education Schools;
  • Promoting publications
