EWMA is proud to introduce The NextGen European Wound Care Leaders Programme, an initiative designed to cultivate future leaders in European wound care. This programme aims to equip aspiring professionals with the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to drive excellence in the field.

About the Initiative

El programa NextGen European Wound Care Leaders es una iniciativa diseñada para fomentar una nueva generación de líderes europeos en el cuidado de heridas. Con la puesta en marcha del programa, la EWMA pretende dotar a los nuevos talentos en el tratamiento de heridas de las habilidades, los conocimientos y las redes necesarias para impulsar la innovación y la excelencia dentro de la EWMA y de la comunidad sanitaria en general.

Apply to Become a NextGen Leader

The programme runs biannually, with a maximum of three mentees selected. Applicants must be current EWMA members based in Europe and will selected by an EWMA Council-appointed committee.

Application Requirements:

  • Completed application form (Download here!)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • List of publications (if applicable)
  • Letter(s) of recommendation

 

Programme Structure

This two-year intensive programme includes:

  • A minimum of four group meetings (online or at the EWMA Conference)
  • Individual mentorship sessions
  • Participation in the annual EWMA Conference and a masterclass
  • Additional tailored opportunities based on mentee needs

 

By the end of the programme, mentees will receive a certificate outlining their achievements.
