EWMA 2020 Council Election Result
See a list of the new EWMA Council members, elected by indivicual members and representatives of the Cooperating Organisations. EWMA warmly welcomes all new members and looks forward to the collaboration.
The Journal of the European Wound Management Association publishes original peer reviewed material including Review articles, Research papers, Clinical studies, Letters, “Case Conferences” - where our Editorial Executives comment on interesting case scenarios, “Clinical Challenges” – discussing difficult or complex cases, and International perspectives on educational initiatives, guidelines, different groups and societies.
Manuscripts that describe product evaluations will be considered, but will receive lower priority. The Journal also welcomes articles that provide the reader with a thorough understanding of a specific methodology or technique pertinent to wound healing studies. These articles will be subjected to the same peer review as regular research articles. Non-scientific articles will be reviewed by the Editorial Board only, although an external review may be requested if deemed necessary.
The journal’s editorial board does not enter into negotiations concerning a manuscript. The Editor’s decision is final.
Submitted research articles may be either short or long: short-format manuscripts should be 1500 to 2000 words with 2 to 4 figures. These shorter papers may be published as Reports. Long-format manuscripts should be up to 4000 words with 5 to 8 figures. Exceptions can be discussed with the Editor and the Editorial Board.
