EWMA 2019: Abstract Submission

The EWMA Scientific Committee and Final Review Group have now evaluated all abstracts submitted for the conference. 

All abstract notifications have now been sent! We look forward to experience all the interesting presentations at EWMA 2019 in Gothenburg!


A great level of interest and research taking place in wound management!

Abstract submissions for the #EWMA2019 Conference came from 57 countries around the world! The highest number of contributions came from the UK, Italy, South Korea, USA and Sweden. 

Presentation Types

Submit your abstract for:

  1. Oral Presentation: If accepted for oral presentation an 8 minute timeslot will be offered.
  2. Electronic Poster Presentation: If accepted you can present your e-poster in a 3 minutes timeslot and have the e-poster on display or choose to have your e-poster on display only.
  3. Paper Poster Display: If accepted for paper poster display, you can mount your paper poster for 1-3 conference days.

Languages: All abstracts must be submitted in English. For abstracts in Swedish, see further details here

All abstracts are evaluated by the Scientific Committee. Submission in a specific presentation type is not a guarantee that the abstract will be offered the presentation type. The Scientific Committee holds the right to offer the author another presentation type.
