Dimitri Beeckman is a professor of nursing science at Örebro University (Sweden) and at  Ghent University (Belgium). He is the Vice- Head of the School of Health Sciences for research and internationalisation at Örebro University. He is a visiting professor at universities in Europe (Denmark, UK) and Australia. He coordinates research of the Skin Integrity Research Group in Ghent and the Swedish Centre for Skin and Wound Research in Örebro.
