The EWMA Council Election is held in two ways:
The candidates and procedures of these two elections are presented below.
This year, there are four (4) vacancies for individual members of EWMA.
For these vacancies there are seven (7) candidates:
The election among individual EWMA members will take place via an online ballot. All members entitled to vote will receive an email with link and instructions within the first two weeks of June 2021.
All members will receive an email with link to the online ballot. The ballot will close Thursday 8 July 2021 at 12:00 CEST.

This year, there is one (1) vacancy for the Cooperating Organisations representatives in the EWMA Council.
For these vacancies, there are three (3) candidates:
Online meeting and election
Due to the postponement of EWMA 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Cooperating Organisations Board meeting and the EWMA Council election for Cooperating Organisation representatives will take place online.
The Cooperating Organisations Board Meeting will be held online on 8 July at 16:00-17:30 CEST (Via Zoom). More information will be provided in due time.
All candidates for EWMA Council election must participate in this Cooperating Organisation’s Board meeting in order to present themselves before the election, which will take place during the online meeting.
The result of the election will be announced during the meeting and published on www.ewma.org as well as EWMA's social media platforms.
