Is Oedema a Challenge in Wound Healing?
The EWMA Council and EWMA Education Committee are proud to introduce the EWMA Master Course as a new educational activity. The 1st EWMA Master Course will take place in Budapest, Hungary on the 13-14 October 2011.
The EWMA Master Course is a course that offers a mixture of theoretical and practical sessions at an advanced level.

Examples of lecture titles are:
- "Patho-physiology and diagnosis and how it applies in the clinical environment"
- "General concepts in the development of evidence based outcome measurement of oedema in healing"
In addition to this, interesting interactive workshops will be held on topics such as
- "Methods for diagnosing different types of oedema: oncology, acute wounds, abdominal compartment syndrome and other types of wounds"
- "Bridging the theory and practice of oedema: skin complications and infections in wound healing"
The course is targeted at a mixed group of international clinicians (physicians and nurses), industry representatives and students with specific interest in the listed subjects.
