EWMA Conference 2018

Free access for Dutch undergraduate students


The 27th conference of the European Wound Management Association (EWMA) will be held at the
Amsterdam RAI from 3-5 May 2017 and is organized by EWMA in collaboration with WCS Kenniscentrum Wondzorg, www.wcs.nl. EWMA is an umbrella organisation linking wound management associations across Europe and a multidisciplinary group bringing together individuals and organisations interested in wound management, www.ewma.org.

On Wednesday 3 May at 13.45-15.00, Dutch nurse students (who are registered in advance) are offered the possibility to attend a special session providing an introduction to wound management. The student’s partic-ipation will be free of charge, and they will have access to attend the EWMA Conference the full day on Wednesday 3 May.

Participation in the conference will give the students a unique introduction to the field of pressure ulcers,  diabetic foot ulcers and wound management in general, seen from a national as well as an international per-spective.

Introduction to wound management for undergraduate nurses

How to register?

All teaching institutions in the Netherlands are invited to register a group of students and one teacher per institution free of charge to join this session and the conference programme offered Wednesday 3 May 2017.

All participants must understand English as no translation to Dutch will be provided.

Each institution that wishes to attend should organise a group of students represented by a teacher. The teacher must register for the conference by e-mail to Sara Palm, sp@ewma.org as soon as possible.
The teacher is kindly asked to provide a final list of students for registration of their group by submitting the en-closed excel sheet by 1 APRIL at the latest to sp@ewma.org
