Promote increasing knowledge on wound healing and wound management among Icelandic health professionals.
Promote teamwork and evidence based care for individuals with wounds in Iceland.
Establish a forum for Icelandic health professionals interested in wound healing by organizing meetings and conferences.
Promote research on wounds among the Icelandic population.
Establish connection between the Icelandic Wound Healing Society and other similar societies.
